Cowork Delhi Review | Coworking Spaces in East Delhi

Cowork Delhi mayur vihar phase 1

Cowork Delhi is a coworking space situated in Mayur Vihar Phase 1, East Delhi. It is one of the oldest coworking spaces in East Delhi. It is also one of our Top 50 Coworking Spaces of India list. We visited Cowork Delhi and here is our detailed review:

We got down at Mayur Vihar Phase 1 Metro station and walked till the Coworking space. The location is very near to the metro station and is very central. Mayur Vihar Phase 1 was around 15 minutes away from Rajiv Chowk which makes it a coworking space near Central Delhi also. The nearby locality is not very corporate, it is more of a commercial area with shops, restaurants, schools etc.

The space is located on the 3rd floor of the building with no lift. The space however, is very well designed with warm interiors which provide a very good working environment to the coworkers. They have availability of both cabins and open desks for startups. Tea/Coffee etc is provided to startups without any extra cost. They have a small area where people can sit and have coffee but there is no dedicated cafe at the coworking space. Coworkers can however access the terrace area to chill.

Startups that work here

As told by the manager of the space Mr. Umesh, a mix of all types of startups work here. There are media agencies, PR agencies, tech startups and remote employees of MNCs working from here. The startups that work from here are from all kinds of backgrounds including IT services startups like QBF, funded On-demand services startups like Healers at Home and Delhi branch of  international affiliate network company Rappier.

Mr. Umesh told us that events keep happening at Cowork Delhi, be it cultural events or tech events by different meetup groups. Cowork Delhi ensures that the startups receive the best working environment that they want.

Why are there not many coworking spaces in east delhi?

When we asked this question to Mr. Umesh, he answered that East Delhi is still a very nascent market for coworking spaces. He said that they still have to explain the concept of coworking and what they are to the customers that arrive from on-ground marketing sources.
