1. Starbucks – Multiple Locations


From Connaught Place to Noida, you’re sure to find a Starbucks around. And believe me, there’s no better place to sit and work. Most Starbucks outlets also offer free Wifi, some might not. However, Starbucks has that chill vibe where you can literally sit and work all day.

There are more than 15 Cafe Coffee Day Outlets within Connaught Place itself. Cafe Coffee Day outlets, or CCD outlets as we call them are the favourite joints for people who want to plug in their laptops and work. CCD are also great for having meeting with your colleagues.


3. Chaayos – Multiple Outlets

Chaayos is present at most markets & malls of Delhi. The Chaayos at SDA Market, right opposite to the IIT Gate has also been the breeding ground for several billion dollar startups. You are sure to find a Chaayos nearby, plug in to their free Wifi and sip the inexpensive Chai (unlike the Starbucks beverages).



4. Tea Trails Cafe – Connaught Place

Tea Trails Cafe CP is the latest entrant in the Cafes with Wifi segment. The Tea Trails Cafe at CP has very open and well lit up interiors. They offer free Wifi and are very chill if you sit and work for hours. Nobody will rush you out or bug you to order!

5. Triveni Terrace Cafe – Mandi House

This one is a true hidden gem. They do not offer any Wifi though. But this place is located inside Triveni Kala Sangam, has all greenery around and is perfect if you are looking for a place to sit and work in Delhi. It is one of the rare places which is surrounded by greens in Delhi. Sip your favourite chai with their Pakora Basket while sitting on the victorian chairs in their outdoor seating.

6. Ivy & Bean – Shahpur Jat

Ivy & Bean is a dreamy cosy cafe with walls lined with books. You can not only sit and work here for hours but also read books from their collection. They offer free WiFi and great Coffee. Located in Shahpur Jat, it is a great place to sit and work for South Delhi folks.

7. Kunzum Travel Cafe – Hauz Khas Village

Kunzum is a wonderful cafe with a very unique concept. There’s no food – just coffee. You can plug into their free wifi, sit and work for hours and you pay what you want to. You can also choose to not pay if you feel like but well, for such a comfy place to sit and chill, who wouldn’t feel like?

8. Indian Coffee House – Connaught Place

This terrace cafe is a hidden gem! A lot of people already know about this place but several do not. The Cafe is located on the top floor of Mohan Singh Place building of Connaught Place. It is a very old cafe run by the Government. They have extremely inexpensive food and beverages. You can drink Roohafza or Orange juice or even order their coffee. In fact, nobody would care even if you do not order anything. It’s a hangout joint for several creative folk of all ages. It is one of the best places to sit and work in Delhi without anyone disturbing you. Just beware of Monkeys that love to hangout in the open areas.
