Narayan Murthy or as popularly known as the Father of IT Industry was born on 20 August, 1946 in Mysore, Karnataka. He studied electrical engineering from National Institute of Engineering, Mysore and completed his M.Tech from Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur.
