What does it take to become a Pilot in India

  1. The candidate should have Physics and Maths in your 12th grade.
  2. Class 2 medical fitness certificate
  3. Class 1 medical fitness certificate
  4. The candidate should have valid license issued by DGCA, India
  5. Ground study
  6. Look for good flying schools in India or abroad
  7. Complete DGCA requirements of flying
  8. Apply for license
  9. Start apply for jobs when you get your license

Apart from Pilot salary in India, there are a number of perks one can get depending on your employer. First of all, the view from your office can make your everyone jealous 😉 . Furthermore, a pilot is allowed 12 hours of minimum rest between two flights. However, their is no fixed time of the job, sometimes a pilot has to wake up at 2:30 AM in the night. On an average 1 sick leave and 1 paid leave is allowed but again it depends on the airline company. In conclusion, there are perks and challenges associated with the profession.
