Google CEO Sundar Pichai is all set to host an event on January 4th 2017 in India. The event is to be held in Delhi and it is on an invite-only mode. Ravi Shankar Prasad, Union Minister of Information & Technology, Government of India will also be present in the event.
Sundar Pichai likely to announce solutions for SME’s
According to Indian Express, the invite reads, “Small and Medium Businesses are the backbone of the Indian economy and are powering the next wave of the country’s growth. At Google, we are excited about partnering with businesses to help them unlock exponential growth through the power of digital. We invite you to join Google CEO Sundar Pichai and other senior leaders from Google as they shine a spotlight on how digital can be a game changer for Indian SMBs.”
Sundar Pichai on behalf of Google, is likely to announce customised solutions for Indian SME’s. Earlier during his visit in December 2015, several solutions were provided keeping Indian audience in mind. Google had aimed to connect 10 million Rail passengers all across the country with Internet by introducing Wifi availability to all rail stations. The success of that programs is reflected in the fact that 100 railway stations in India have already been connected with WiFi from Google.
